Breaking Barriers, Elevating Faith and Making History
In the world of gospel hip-hop, few have shattered barriers and set records like Dr. Tiffany Coleman, known to many as Miz Tiffany.
A multi-award-winning recording artist, author, philanthropist, and actress, she has made history as Mississippi’s first female Christian hip-hop artist to earn national and international acclaim.

Miz Tiffany’s impact spans far beyond the mic. She’s a four-time Hall of Famer, a Stellar Award winner and GRAMMY-nominated artist, and the first female gospel rapper to grace the Dr. Bobby Jones Presents stage. With over 50 awards and accolades—including the prestigious Presidential Volunteer Service Lifetime Achievement Award under the Biden administration—her influence extends into community service, early childhood literacy, and faith-based initiatives.

From Hollywood sets to international stages, Miz Tiffany’s presence is undeniable. She has performed alongside gospel greats like Jonathan McReynolds, Erica Campbell, and Deitrick Haddon, hosted the Rhythm of Gospel Music Awards, and even launched her own signature seasoning, Miz Tiffany’s All-Purpose Southern Rub. As a GRAMMY U mentor, actress, and media personality, she continues to inspire women to rise, break barriers, and walk boldly in purpose.

Hello and welcome!! It is such a pleasure to have you at The Adorned Life! Can you tell us a little about yourself and the journey that has brought you to where you are today?
Absolutely! I’m Dr. Tiffany Coleman-McGee, also known as Miz Tiffany. My journey has
been a blend of faith, determination, and an unwavering passion for music and
community service. I recently earned my Doctor of Philosophy in Christian Leadership
and Business, which has been a significant milestone. Music has always been a part of
my life, and through the years, I’ve had the privilege to tour internationally, release
award-winning albums, and make history as a female solo rap artist in the gospel music
scene. My path has also led me to act in various television series and movies, author
three books, and host a radio show. All these experiences have been driven by my faith
and a desire to make a positive impact on the world.

What is your current role or mission, and how do you believe it contributes to the world around you?
My current mission is to use my platform to inspire and uplift others through music,
volunteer work, and mentorship. As an internationally known recording artist and
performer, I aim to bring messages of hope, faith, and resilience to my audience.
Through my involvement in community service and early childhood literacy initiatives, I
strive to make a tangible difference in the lives of others. Additionally, as a GRAMMY U
mentor and active member of various music award academies, I’m committed to
supporting and guiding the next generation of artists. I believe that by sharing my
journey and my faith, I can contribute to a world that is more compassionate, driven, and
empowered.
In what ways do you feel you are redefining what it means to live an adorned life?
Redefining an adorned life, for me, means living with purpose, authenticity, and a heart
full of gratitude. It’s about embracing my unique gifts and using them to serve others and
glorify God. I strive to adorn my life with acts of kindness, a strong sense of community,
and a relentless pursuit of my dreams. By staying true to myself and my values, I hope
to inspire others to find beauty and fulfillment in their own lives, beyond material
possessions or societal expectations.

Who or what inspires you to keep pushing forward, especially during challenging
times?
My inspiration comes from my faith in God and the incredible support of my family,
friends, and followers. The stories and testimonies of those who have been touched by
my music and work keep me motivated. During challenging times, I lean on prayer and
the wisdom found in the scriptures. Seeing the impact of my work in the lives of others,
especially young women and children, fuels my determination to keep pushing forward
and making a difference.
What message or piece of advice would you like to share with other women who are striving to make a difference in their communities?
To all the women striving to make a difference, I would say: Believe in yourself and the
unique gifts you have to offer. Don’t be afraid to step out in faith and pursue your
passions. Remember that your voice matters and your contributions, no matter how
small they may seem, can have a profound impact on those around you. Stay true to
your values, be persistent, and surround yourself with a supportive community. Most
importantly, trust that God has a plan for you and that your efforts, fueled by love and
compassion, can create lasting change in your community and beyond.

Do you have a favorite scripture or spiritual passage that holds special meaning
for you?
Yes, one of my favorite scriptures is Jeremiah 29:11, which says, “For I know the plans I
have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give
you hope and a future.” This verse has been a guiding light for me, reminding me that no
matter what challenges I face, God has a purpose and a plan for my life that is filled with
hope and promise.
How has your faith played a role in your journey and the work you do?
My faith is the foundation of everything I do. It has given me the strength to overcome
obstacles, the wisdom to make important decisions, and the compassion to serve others.
Through prayer and a deep connection with God, I’ve found the courage to pursue my
dreams and the resilience to keep going when things get tough. My faith also shapes the
messages in my music, aiming to bring encouragement and hope to those who listen.
It’s been a constant source of inspiration and a guiding force in my journey.
