Ingredients:
- 8 oz linguine or spaghetti
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Juice of 1 lemon
- ¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese (optional)
- Salt & pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- Cook pasta in salted boiling water according to package directions. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
- Pat shrimp dry and season with salt & pepper.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter.
- Add garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
- Add shrimp in a single layer; cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
- Reduce heat to low, stir in lemon juice, red pepper flakes, and parsley.
- Toss cooked pasta into the skillet with shrimp, adding a splash of reserved pasta water if needed to loosen sauce.
- Sprinkle with parmesan before serving (optional).
Serving Suggestion: Serve with garlic bread and a glass of chilled white wine for a quick yet elegant dinner.
