CB2: How to Host and Still Enjoy the Party

1. Name cards automatically make a dinner feel so much more personalized.
2. If you have more friends than square footage, enlist a rich friend as co-host and use their space.
3. Don’t just be fully dressed when your guests arrive-look fabulous. Throw a towel over your shoulder for effect.
4. Early bird quests? Put them to work on final details.
5. Break the ice with handwritten conversation starters (“never have I ever ” anyone?) at each place setting.
6. If you look good and keep the drinks flowing, no one actually cares how the food tastes.
7. A good host never lets their guests go hungry. Always make sure there’s enough to eat.
8. As a quest, never be late, underdressed, or worst of all, boring.
9. Keep toasts short, sweet and entertaining.
10. Go all-in on candlelight. Everyone looks more attractive that way, anyway!
